This parent resource guide is an excellent tool to teach your parents HOW to help their kids with reading strategies at home! Most parents WANT to help their children but don’t know how or have the resources to help their kids. This is an incredible resource to hand out during parent night, meet the teacher, parent conferences, or to just send home in your student’s take home folders. This packet is divided into 6 main parts: phonics, phonemic awareness, comprehension, sight words, fluency, and alphabet. Each section gives detailed information about what the type of reading is along with explicit games or activities they can do with their children at home to build on these skills.

Want to learn more about the 5 pillars of reading and how you can help your struggling readers? Check out this blog post.
